“Given all of the travel we do as part of our regional conservation work, the Global Rescue membership gives us peace of mind as we organize and conduct research, often in remote locations." - Dr. Aaron Adams from the nonprofit, Bonefish & Tarpon Trust From the Florida Keys to the Caribbean islands, you’ll find Bonefish & Tarpon Trust (BTT) conducting research in remote, tropical locations. To research bonefish, a near-threatened species, BTT scientists regularly travel to where bonefish live: tropical and warm temperate waters near coasts, inter-coastal flats, near mangroves, and around mouths of tidal creeks. BTT members travel across the southeastern United States, the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean to meet with partners, conduct research and fish the flats. With all this international travel — sometimes to Level 4 warning locations or remote tropical islands — who protects BTT staff, board members and scientists? Global Rescue. We offer multiple partnership opportunities so you can continue delivering a high-quality service to your customers while knowing Global Rescue has everyone's back. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/e_HgjDUr PC: Bonefish & Tarpon Trust

Yesterday, many team members came together for our annual Global Rescue Readiness Training (GRRT)! The GRRT is organized by our Security Operations Team to test our team members physically and mentally during a series of activities. Together we laughed, gasped, cheered each other on, and worked HARD. Congratulations to the blue team for finishing the day with the best score!

Top Risks of Using Translation Apps 👇 📱 Technical Issues – Apps that rely on internet connectivity can be unreliable or costly. 📱Privacy Concerns – Some translation apps require access to personal data, raising privacy issues. 📱Security Risks – Using public Wi-Fi networks to access translation apps can expose sensitive information to potential hackers. 📱Dependency – Relying too heavily on translation apps may hinder language learning and cultural immersion. 📱Communication Breakdown – In complex or nuanced conversations, translation apps may not be able to accurately convey tone or context, leading to misunderstandings. Before traveling, it’s wise to download and familiarize yourself with one or more of these translation apps to help facilitate communication and enhance your travel experience. It’s also helpful to have a basic understanding of common phrases or greetings in the local language of the country you are visiting to show respect and courtesy to the locals. 🔗 Read the full blog here: https://lnkd.in/dMEsGZZn

When you think of Portugal, you might picture stunning coastlines and charming towns. But for Global Rescue Member Marian, it was the start of an unforgettable journey along the Camino de Santiago. Just four days into her pilgrimage, a fall at her hotel left her with a serious knee injury. Talk about an unexpected twist! But Marian didn't panic. She knew she had Global Rescue by her side. We sprung into action, arranging her medical care and even organizing (and paying for!) her journey back home. Marian's story is a testament to the unpredictable nature of travel and the reassurance of being prepared. 🔗 Dive deeper into Marian's experience here: https://lnkd.in/d_ZAgQHd
