We did it again! We’re creating safer workplaces! RAS presented a check to Greater Regional Health in Creston, Iowa, for $2,500 as part of the RAS Safety Grant program. Grants will be awarded semi-annually, with an April and October application cycle. We focus our awards on initiatives that address known workplace hazards. Greater Regional Health will use the grant to invest in a new bariatric room. This will provide the best patient care and comfort while keeping the staff safe. New equipment includes a total lift system, full body slings, and more. This will allow the staff to utilize more lifting equipment to prevent injuries.
