#GMCVB's Multicultural Tourism & Development Department had an incredible day exploring #Allapattah and discovering some hidden gems! We started at the historic Corpus Christi Catholic Church, home to the Florida Cultural Heritage Center. We toured: 1. La Casa: Admin office, exhibition space, meeting rooms and art restoration studio. 2. Chapel of Our Lady of La Merced: Active church with a stunning collection of Spanish Colonial art. Next, we visited the Mindy Solomon Gallery, showcasing amazing artists in painting, sculpture, photography and video. After a delicious lunch at Hometown BBQ, we wrapped up at The Break Room Miami!

#GMCVB sponsored the Smart Meetings Inclusive Experience, July 28-30 at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa. We helped welcome 180 meeting planners and industry professionals to this event. David Whitaker, our President & CEO, highlighted how #Miami incorporates inclusivity throughout its meetings and events. This initiative underscores our commitment to making Miami a leading destination for diverse and inclusive experiences. We look forward to engaging with industry leaders and continuing our efforts to position Greater Miami and Miami Beach as a premier destination for all.
What a pleasure we have had hosting July's Smart Meetings Experience event on-site! Two full days of Meeting Planner educational seminars, professional networking, festivities, and yes -- salsa dancing lessons. It's a privilege as always to work with groups such as this one, alongside the high-caliber conversations and connections that come with them. Thank you so much to all who attended, and helped to make this event truly exceptional. Here’s to more moments of brilliance! #MeetingProfs #Networking #JWMarriott #SouthFloridaMeetings
