🔦 U.S. Ad Spend Spotlight: Diverse-Owned Media 🌍 As of 2020, diverse-owned media accounted for a mere 0.7 percent of the total media mix allocation, which included Black-, Asian-, and Hispanic-owned media. Other diverse-owned media categories (disabled, Native American, and LGBTQ) were not represented because their allocations were regrettably nonexistent at the time. In 2023, however, diverse-owned media climbed to 2.5 percent of the mix, putting disabled-, Native American-, and LGBTQ-owned media on the board. Overall, between 2020 and 2023, advertisers increased diverse-owned media allocation by 3.5 times. How much more will diverse-owned media grow in 2024?
