Marissa Twichell is a prominent figure in California's Cannabis industry, known for her ability to build brands and forge crucial connections. She currently serves as the Director of Growth at Trichome Gold, a boutique rosin company based in the iconic Humboldt County, and is a co-founder of Women of Cannabis. Marissa's strategic vision and partnerships have catapulted notable brands such as Big Pete’s Treats, Bloom Farms, and Pacific Stone to success. As an international Cannabis judge in California and Barcelona, and an influential industry voice, she is celebrated for her significant contributions to the Cannabis sector. Driven by a personal passion, Marissa is dedicated to making Cannabis accessible, whether as an alternative or complement to pharmaceuticals. Born and raised in Santa Monica, Neema Samari founded Cannabiotix (CBX) back in 2014. Frenchy Cannoli—who passed away three years ago today—was a California-based teacher, consultant, artisan, and activist dedicated to the production and appreciation of traditional Cannabis concentrates. He lived nomadically for over twenty years—from Morocco to Mexico, to Nepal, Pakistan, and India—staying with traditional producers and learning techniques handed down over generations. He then shared that knowledge with the entire community, which today continues to mourn his loss and celebrate his legacy.
