In North America, CORE turnover increased to CHF 2,132.6 million in the first half of 2024 with organic growth of +6.9% year-over-year. In the U.S., growth across both F&B and travel retail was robust, supported by traffic trends and solid demand from domestic and international passengers. Canada continued to benefit from the progressive recovery of Asian travelers over the quarter. During the second quarter, we expanded our presence in the U.S. significantly, securing 15-year contracts with John Wayne Airport (SNA) and Sacramento International Airport (SMF). We also opened BrewDog's first airport bar in the U.S. at John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH), Half Moon Empanadas in O'Hare International Airport (ORD), and NASCAR Drafthouse at St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL). The Pharmacy Burger Parlor! 🍔 Here's what two reporters from The Tennessean had to say: "Oh wow, this comes really close to the original restaurant in East Nashville — super juicy, delicious burgers and nearly perfect tots, salty, brown and crunchy on the outside and tender inside. The servers all were incredibly friendly, and the food is cooked fresh, unlike some other airport outlets. Still, we got our burgers in under 10 minutes."
