At Honeyfund, celebrating love and inclusivity is at our core. Honeyfund began in a cozy apartment on Castro Street in San Francisco around the same time the first same-sex wedding licenses were issued at the city’s courthouse in 2004. Our company has continued to support the LGBTQ+ community ever since, notably winning an injunction against the unconstitutional Stop Woke Act in Florida last year—a law that sought to suppress DEI training for private companies. Celebrating diversity and championing inclusivity are fundamental principles guiding our mission: to make the honeymoon happen for all couples. We are dedicated to creating a platform where everyone feels seen, valued, and celebrated. Inclusivity is embedded in everything we do, from the language we use to the couples we showcase to the influencers we partner with. We work with inclusive wedding vendors and hotels to provide helpful resources for all couples planning their weddings and honeymoons. At Honeyfund, we’re a founder-led, close-knit team with a mission to make the honeymoon happen for all couples. As a remote company, we gather together in person annually to reflect on our mission, ensuring we stay true to our commitment. In our recent 2023 Team Retreat, we celebrated last year’s achievements and looked ahead. Our 2024 focus includes reaching more couples, continuing our world-class customer service, and providing a better experience for our couples’ and their friends and family with the help of AI. We know that couples who travel together, stay together, so we’re doubling down on our mission in 2024.
