We are thrilled to announce the introduction of a brand new Cause Category on AmplifyATX.org! Starting in January 2025, users will be able filter nonprofits for those who offer Disability Services. As we strive to make giving possible for all Central Texans, we must ensure accessibility is at every touchpoint of our work. Thank you to those nonprofits in our community that counseled us on this need for expansion. We look forward to driving awareness and support for the local organizations that make a positive impact for this cause. The new Disability Services cause category will include nonprofits who support the physical, intellectual, and emotional needs for individuals with disabilities at all stages of life. These organizations offer services such as advocacy and legal assistance, educational programs, job training and placements, support groups and counseling, resources, and other types of support to help in achieving a higher quality of life. #ILiveHereIGiveHere #DisabilityPrideMonth

One of our favorite things about Amplify Austin Day is seeing nonprofits get creative to meet their fundraising goals during the giving event. Austin Parks Foundation is a fantastic example! This year, they raised $66,629 for 24 park projects across the city by combining the power of peer-to-peer fundraising with their Adopt-A-Park program! These funds go to their Sponsored Fund Accounts, which Adopt-A-Park groups use to fund projects important to their neighborhoods.
