Since 1936. Celebrating moments of IU pride, tradition, ingenuity, and generosity. #ThanksToIUdonors
About us
In 1936, a small group of alumni, friends, and members of the Indiana University community founded the IU Foundation to fulfill a dream of educational opportunity for all. A not-for-profit corporation, IUF is dedicated to maximizing private sector support for IU. State appropriations provide less than a third of IU’s operating budget, so private gifts are vital to keeping an IU education both exceptional and affordable.

What a privilege it is to work with bright, passionate learners and future leaders through the IUF internship program. The gratitude goes both ways, Escarvar—thank you for sharing your time and talents with us this summer!
In the world with diversity, equity, and inclusion, every voice should have its own 'note' in the symphony of success!
I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Indiana University Foundation for an incredible 12-week internship experience. I never saw myself in the world of philanthropy, oh did it change. I was able to cherish every moment of in-person interactions that truly resonated with my passion for connecting with people. The opportunity to understand the behind-the-scenes of philanthropy was invaluable, shaping my perspective on the importance of investing in students. A special thank you to Freddy Arsenault and Erin Bruce for their guidance and support throughout the summer. Working alongside such dedicated individuals was a privilege, and I am grateful for the seamless learning experience they provided. The entire staff and faculty I encountered were exceptional, making my internship truly memorable. To Lawrence Hammer SHRM-CP your mentorship was transformative. Your support and positivity were a beacon of light, and I am thankful for the opportunity to have worked with you. Your mentorship has not only shaped me as a leader but also as a person. Thank you for everything! I extend my appreciation to Roberta M. Radovich for recognizing my potential and guiding me towards this enriching opportunity. Your encouragement and belief in me have been instrumental in my growth, and I am forever grateful for your mentorship. This internship has been a catalyst for self-reflection and growth, challenging me in the best possible ways. I am inspired to pursue a future where I can continue to learn, evolve, and make a meaningful impact. Thank you to everyone who made this experience truly exceptional.

We missed Guinea Pig Appreciation Day earlier this month (yes, it's a thing), but we still had to share this adorable lil IU fan. 😊 Thanks to our very own Bee Kelly-Cameron for sharing the photo! As one of our IU Day 2024 photo challenge winners, Bee chose the Queer Philanthropy Circle Initiatives Fund to receive the $500 gift in their name. #ThanksToIUdonors #IUday
