When learning programs need fast support, we’re always eager to make it happen by quickly fulfilling orders and providing unbeatable customer service. We recently did just that to serve 1,420 early learning programs in Arizona—and we couldn’t be prouder! Arizona had the opportunity to use funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to equip its early childhood programs with the furniture and materials they needed. 365 new learning spaces completed in 15 days or less? That’s just part of what we do—and our recent project with Killeen ISD in Texas is a great example of how we can make it happen! Killeen ISD needed to quickly transition from traditional classrooms to 21st-century learning environments. The district chose to work with Lakeshore because of our versatile, next-generation Flex-Space furniture and our ability to design, deliver and install the necessary spaces on time and on budget. These students’ smiles are why we do what we do! We recently had the honor of teaming up with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Atlantic Coast Conference and Extra Yard for Teachers to update the music room at Winding Springs Elementary. For our role in the partnership, we outfitted the space with furniture that will give 800 students the comfort and flexibility they need—for years to come. What makes this extra-special for us is that Lakeshore Regional Sales Manager Jay Lamothe is a graduate of Winding Springs! We were moved to see Jay reflecting on the importance of the music room update while looking at a hallway mural he helped paint when he was a student there. It was a true full-circle moment! Jay and all of us at Lakeshore are so proud to know the students and educators at Winding Springs are delighted with the outcome of this amazing partnership!
