Please join Lime Connect and numerous dedicated riders and supporters in Reston, Virginia for an important cause: creating opportunities for high school students with disabilities to achieve success. This year, our cycling event will take a different form as we will participate as part of the #TheLimeChallenge Team at the 41st Ken Thompson Reston Century Ride organized by the Reston Bike Club. The ride is scheduled for Sunday, August 18th in Reston, VA, featuring routes of 31, 62, and 100 miles. Following the ride, we will host a post-ride celebration with complimentary beer at The Bike Lane. Funds generated through our designated site will contribute to Lime Connect’s Pathways Scholarship for high school seniors with disabilities who are bound for university, supporting them in pursuing their educational aspirations. Fellows Symposium 2024 was a major success! Sharing a few highlights from yet another amazing Leadership and Development program put on for this year's class of phenomenal university students with disabilities. Set in New York City, endless memories and professional connections were made from our annual boat ride around the Hudson, to our networking reception with our corporate partners. What a transformation to behold, seeing participants grow in confidence and friendship as we work together to develop skills needed to be successful in the professional world. We look forward to continuing to coach and support these students in their career endeavors for a lifetime.
