✏️ Did you know the Hospital School at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford has been around for 100 years?! In 1924, the Stanford Home for Convalescent Children converted a former dining room into a school room, where children could continue their education. “The older children, without this work, would worry a good deal at the loss of time and probably of promotion in school,” wrote Ruth Spande, the Con Home’s first superintendent and administrator in a 1923-1924 report. Learn about the importance of the Hospital School and the role it still plays at Stanford Children's Health | Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford in our latest issue of Packard Children’s News linked in below. 📙🧡 https://lnkd.in/dfUbYx6n

Meet Jocelyn, our super talented friend who conquered her nut allergies and wrote a graphic novel about it! 🥜 Jocelyn's journey started with scary reactions to nuts, but thanks to the COMBINE study at the Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy and Asthma Research at Stanford University, she can now travel and go out without the fear of exposure to nuts. And guess what? She’s using her love for art to share her story and help others!
