So glad to hear about our interns having such positive experiences this summer. Thank you, and wishing you a bright future ahead!
As my internship with Lumanity comes to an end, I wanted to reflect on the tremendous growth and skills that I have gained along the way. Over these past 10 weeks, I have had the chance to immerse myself in medical, commercial and regulatory affairs. During my time at Lumanity, I was fortunate to work as the Client Experience (CE) intern on the Creative Strategy and Engagement (CSE) team where I had the chance to explore various aspects of the healthcare industry and its terminology in depth. My role involved participating in client calls, where I assisted with various client projects and supported the developed of solutions that suited their needs. This hands-on experience also allowed me to learn about diseases and understand the complex process of drug development and market introduction. In addition to working with the CE team, my final project during my internship was collaborating with three fellow interns, each from different roles, on a LinkedIn advertisement for Lumanity's omnichannel solution- ONEE. This project gave us a unique opportunity to create a real-world advertisement that was actively used for two weeks. Each of us brought different strengths to the table- ranging from creative design and copywriting to budget management and audience analysis. We worked together to develop the creative concept, write a compelling copy, and identify our target audience. This collaborative effort required us to become familiar with LinkedIn's advertising platform and to gain a deep understanding of omnichannel strategies- an area we were initially unfamiliar with. Throughout extensive research and teamwork, we not only learned about omnichannel marketing but also saw our efforts come to life in a professional campaign. This hands-on project and experience was a significant shift from traditional internships as it allowed us to highlight our diverse skills, contribute to the company's marketing efforts directly and gain practical experience in digital advertising. I wanted to extend my thanks to my mentor Louis Spadaro and Joelle Stephenson Ferraro for allowing an amazing experience. I would also like to thank Lindsay Lare, MBA, Jackie Singley, Donna Ambriano, and James Hutchinson for all the help to make our project come to life. Their encouragement and guidance played a crucial role in my development as an intern. This experience has not only enhanced my technical skills but also broadened my understanding of the healthcare field. I am excited to take these insights and skills into my next chapters. Looking ahead, I am eager to continue growing and applying what I have learned to my future.
