Earlier this week, our New York HQ associates had the opportunity to join our Belonging and Social Impact team and our Family Associate Impact Group (AIG) to support local families by partnering with the Projects With Care. Together, we are making a difference by helping collect and distribute school supplies for children in NYC.    This impactful way to give back is particularly significant, given that thousands of children live in the NYC shelter system and that school supplies are a necessity most families cannot afford. This initiative is making a real difference in the lives of these families.   This year, we donated 60 backpacks, which provided each child with a new outfit, shoes, backpack, and grade-specific school supplies for the entire academic year.    We all know what a difference a good outfit can make, and we hope we made back-to-school a little easier for these kids as they begin the upcoming school year. That’s a wrap 🎬!   Our J.Crew Group Technology team just completed their second annual Tech Summer Camp and the momentum is palpable ✨.    Our JCG Chief Information Officer, Danielle Schmelkin said it best, “Our mostly remote and hybrid tech team came together for a fantastic event filled with inspiration, innovation, and some much-needed face-to-face time. Happy National Intern Day! 🎉    We are grateful for the contributions our interns at J.Crew, J.Crew Factory, and, Madewell have made over the past eight weeks in tech, marketing, design, merchandising, production, sourcing, planning & allocation, and HR.    Our interns have participated in weekly learning series, given back to their community through service projects and applied their learnings to a group project. It's been an amazing summer with our crew and we're grateful for all of their hard work!   #NationalInternDay #TeamMadewell

Over the past couple of months, we’ve had the opportunity to celebrate 90 of our J.Crew Group associates from our Distribution Centers and Customer Care Teams in Lynchburg, VA, San Antonio, TX and Asheville, NC.   At our service luncheons across the three locations, we were able to raise a glass to each of these employees who were celebrating milestone anniversaries from 10 to 35 years of time with JCG.    We feel incredibly lucky to have had this opportunity to highlight and thank these colleagues for their tenure and incredible accomplishments during their time at JCG and are looking forward to next year’s awards ceremony already!   #Anniversaries #Milestones #ServiceAwards #TeamMadewell

At Madewell, our Associate Impact Groups (AIG) are crucial in creating an aspirational environment and culture. They foster a stronger sense of community, drive organizational change, create opportunities for cultural exchange, and positively impact their communities. Recently, Unidos—dedicated to our Latine associates and allies—teamed up with the Texas JCG team to join a volunteer event at the San Antonio Food Bank— to support its mission to fight hunger and feed hope across Southwest Texas. We had 11 of our J.Crew Factory Retail and Customer Care associates from the Houston and San Antonio areas work together to sort and pack produce, nonperishable foods, and household items in preparation for distribution to members of the local community being served. Through their efforts, the team was able to organize and box over 3200 lbs. of food, which equates to 2,587 meals in total.    We are proud of our associates who choose to give back and make a difference in their communities.     #JCrewCares #AIG #GiveBack #TeamMadewell
