It goes without saying that this is a skill that should be expected, but in today's workplace, it's not always that easy! Having the peace of mind knowing an employee is going to be on time–arriving at the office, showing up for meetings and completing work deadlines–is critical! It's difficult to fully judge dependability early on with a new hire, but keeping an eye out for clues like interview timeliness and how long a candidate was in their previous role can be beneficial. Four years ago, the world was right in the middle of unprecedented times; however, in the midst of the unknown Magnify made a decision that would change the company forever! This #MagnifyMonday is a special post regarding one of the decisions to bring on someone that would ultimately help shape and shift the company in a positive direction. Logan Snell, MBA was brought on for the Managing Director position in our Phoenix office and took the Phoenix market, and Magnify, by storm! In four years, Logan has led the Phoenix team to many accomplishments including individual president's club winners, the coveted "Dream Team Award", and record breaking numbers that would WOW anyone! Magnify is lucky, and also grateful, that you are a part of our team for not only showing us what your capabilities are but for your large part in paving the way for where Magnify is headed! We appreciate you and are more than excited for the impact you will make in the years to come! Every #MagnifyMonday is a special shout-out to one of our amazing team members to help you learn more about our team! These are always our favorite posts because we believe celebrating success is so important! We always love reading posts about other people’s or company’s successes + celebrations, so we wanted to share about a promotion! Our very own Sean Monahan has officially been promoted to Business Development Manager! In his first year with Magnify, Sean has done a remarkable job of stepping up to the challenge of creating new partnerships, being a great example within the Magnify team, and consistently reaching and surpassing his goals! He does a great job of building relationships with his candidness, determination to get the job done, and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure he helps get everyone across the finish line! It’s even more special when we can celebrate someone’s One-Year Anniversary and then be able to couple that with such a well-deserved promotion, which makes this announcement even more special! So, from Magnify to you Sean, congratulations on a fantastic first year at Magnify, and cheers to earning your first PROMOTION! We couldn’t be more grateful or proud to have you!

As we wrap up the month, our Skills Spotlight is back with yet another attribute of an exceptional hire: Time Management. Time management skills are important across the board, whether you're a hiring a seasoned executive or an entry-level college graduate. In the age of distraction, finding team members who can stay focused, complete routine tasks in a timely manner and meet deadlines can be surprisingly difficult. Being able to manage time well benefits the individual as much as it benefits the organization. It leads to higher quality work and improved productivity, which both benefit you as an employer, but we'd like to point out that good time management skills also reduce stress and anxiety, provide more personal time and improve quality of life for the employee! Another week in the books, another #MagnifyMonday coming your way! This week is all about congratulating Ashley Bocklet on her promotion from Recruiting Associate to Recruiting Specialist! Magnify welcomed Ashley at the end of January and WOW has she made an impact! Ashley has exceeded Magnify's standard goals, set a record for Richmond's fastest personal spread achiever, and crushed her own personal goals in her stint with Magnify thus far! Ashley is driven, goal-oriented, and determined to make her presence known in the Richmond market and she has done just that!
