Today, OMA staff were treated to a tour of the Illuminate USA facility in Pataskala, Ohio. As of June, Illuminate USA has already produced more than 800,000 solar panels since production began in February, and is on track to employ more than 1,000 Ohioans by the end of this year. OMA President Ryan Augsburger issued the following statement on the temporary block of the Environmental Protection Agency’s 'Good Neighbor Plan' by the U.S. Supreme Court: "The decision by the Supreme Court today is a win for manufacturers across the country against the onslaught of unobtainable standards being pushed out of Washington. Ohio manufacturing leaders commend Attorney General Dave Yost for his leadership in challenging the unreasonable regulations before the highest court to defend Ohioans from higher costs and lost jobs."
