I save 208 hours and 9 minutes every year with one simple AI. It only costs me $0.17/hr Here’s how you can do it too: I use a software called Otter.ai (no this isn’t sponsored) I record cold calls, scheduled meetings, and personal walks where I brainstorm ideas. But I save the 208 hours on my cold call workflow. THE BREAKDOWN: If I have 10 legitimate conversations per day. On average, it might take me 5 minutes between calls to log notes. That’s 50 minutes per day just logging notes. Over 250 work days, I’m spending 208 hours and 9 minutes on notes alone. For context, that’s over 8 days straight. (I think I’d rather spend those days on the golf course) THE 10 STEP WORKFLOW: 1. Pull up a targeted call list in your CRM 2. Start making calls (recording them all on Otter.ai) 3. Don’t stop in between calls to log notes 4. Finish all the calls you want to make 5. Go back to the first person in your list where you had a legit convo 6. Pull up your Otter.ai account 7. Copy the provided ‘Summary & Outline’ for each conversation 8. Paste them into the notes section of your CRM 9. Save 208 hours per year 10. Get out of the office and enjoy your life Otter.ai provides an outline, 'next actionable steps', etc. It automatically transcribes conversations. I don't take notes during meetings any more. That's something I NEVER thought I would say, especially since I'm pretty old school when it comes to taking notes. Up until recently I still took hand written notes for almost all my meetings. Now, with Otter.ai I don't have to any more. It takes the notes for me and transcribes them in real time so I can highlight section of the conversation as I go and then summarizes everything for me at the end. Their Otter Pilot for Sales feature pulls out key information around all aspects of the sales process like decision process, timeline, pain points, next steps and more. Their chat function also allows me to ask any question about any meeting, including multiple meetings with the same client and get instant answers. I used this function the other day right before I was about to do a training and had forgotten a critical piece of information about their sales process. Instead of sifting through all my notes I was able to quickly ask their chatbot for the information and it found it for me immediately. I know there are a lot of other meeting recorders and note taking solutions on the market right now but after going through almost all of them I can tell you that Otter is by far my favorite.
