    NEWS: We announced today that 8 of our retail sportsbooks will rebrand to ESPN BET over the course of August and September, furthering brand connectivity between PENN’s casinos and online sports betting platform. Each sportsbook features a premium viewing area and dining options, providing a unique experience for sports fans to be able to keep up with all the action.     ESPN BET has debuted a new playoff-focused commercial spot featuring ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith.  In ‘Pool Hall,’ Smith is in his element, debating the importance of closing out a playoff series while making his own rules to close out a billiards match. The spot plays into ESPN BET’s larger campaign theme of how fan-driven sports narratives create engaging betting moments.  “Featuring such a recognizable talent in Stephen A., who is at the epicenter of the daily sports conversation, further strengthens the connection between media and betting with the ESPN and ESPN BET brands,” said Jennifer Weissman, Chief Marketing Officer, PENN Entertainment.
