We've been experiencing some scorching days this July, but it's been heartwarming to witness the incredible ways everyone has stepped up to keep our neighbors supported. The Laundry Stop has officially been joining us for two months! Having that additional resource made available for our neighbors has been a huge blessing. Along with Shower Up Nashville, every week, Monday night feels like a place for our neighbors to find consistent rest and resources. Your ongoing support—whether through volunteering, donations, or heartfelt prayers—continues to make a significant difference. This month, your dedication has made a remarkable impact: 2,762 Meals were prepared and delivered 2,899 Units of clothing were chosen and distributed 115 Connections to Resources were provided on Monday A lot has been shifting with our numbers for permanent housing, and we will report on that soon. We sincerely appreciate the commitment and generosity of our amazing PLN community. Thank you for all that you do!

A simple prayer to remember as we love others: Lord, Help us to remember what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Help us not to come with our own thoughts, ideas, and agendas about what it means to serve, but teach us in your own eyes, Lord. Show us what it looks like to be kind and loving. Guide us to act with compassion, to listen with empathy, and to offer grace without hesitation. May our actions reflect your Love, our words be filled with your truth, and our hearts overflow with your mercy. Help us see every person as you see them, and serve with a heart that mirrors your own. As we sit with people, help us remember how you would be amongst your neighbors and inspire us to follow your example. Let your Holy Spirit move through us so we might reflect your Love in every moment. Amen

🌟 Ain't no stopping us now! We've been dancing our way through every Monday night this summer. Each week, when we gather together, we are reminded of the joys of friendship and the simple but powerful acts of play. No matter what hardship or difficulty life throws at our neighbors, there is often an equal amount, if not more, of joy to be found in the streets. We learn how to carry heaviness together as a community. Through the heaviness, we also learn how to hold the laughter together. Monday Nights are our chance to create a safe, warm environment for everyone to gather. For some, it's a time to seek out much-needed immediate resources, prayer, or medical assistance. For others, it's a time to reconnect with old friends, laugh with others, and dance! Our community is so rich, and we're grateful to be a part of it. Let's hear it for our Food Team Volunteers! Week after week, we have an incredible group of individuals of all ages who show up to prep hearty meals for all our outreaches for the entire week. We have teams that carefully pack the meals, load them into vans on Monday night, and hand-deliver them to our neighbors with love. And let's not forget the brave individuals who help clean our dirty dishes! We are so grateful to our food team volunteers and their endless commitment to our Nashville neighbors. Their selflessness, dedication, and tireless efforts are truly inspiring. Thank you for making a profound difference in our community, embodying a spirit of compassion and service, and helping provide immediate relief and dignity to our unhoused neighbors.
