The Pirates and Sheetz are each proud to have long-standing relationships with Special Olympics Pennsylvania. Nearly 200 local Sheetz Leagues and Special Olympics youth baseball and softball athletes, whose leagues are supported by Sheetz, took part in special on-field clinics at PNC Park this morning. Participants in each clinic rotated through five stations of baseball skills with the help of Pirates players and coaches.

Last Thursday, we teamed up with Tri-State Office Furniture, Inc. to host our second consecutive Pop-Up Event at Sto-Rox Jr./Sr. High School for the McKees Rocks Community! Residents of the community came out to show their Rocks pride and had the opportunity to meet the Pirate Parrot and Pierogies, win some fun prizes and play fun games! We also had community organizations on-site showing their support! It was a fantastic evening to be out in the community engaging with Pirates fans and building excitement for our upcoming McKees Rocks Community Night at PNC Park on August 7th presented by Tri-State Office Furniture, Inc.! Our interns have brought passionate perspectives, innovative ideas, and endless enthusiasm to our front office this summer. We are grateful for their hard work and dedication to the Pirates and look forward to seeing their continued growth and success.
