Our United States Interns have spent the summer contributing to challenging work across all aspects of our global business. They recently had the opportunity to showcase their accomplishments to business leaders, team members, and peers at our annual intern expo. The event also allowed them to develop their professional brand further through networking. It’s incredible to see the growth and impact every one of our Interns has made in their short time with us.

We are thrilled to announce the completion of our second full-home build in partnership with Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity. We were honored to recently welcome the new owners, the Chang family, to their beautiful home in Appleton, Wisconsin. Our partnership with Habitat for Humanity is a true testament to how we live our vision to help create the products that build a better world brought to life through the passion of our team members. With this build, 165 team members volunteered more than 1,250 hours to create a safe, welcoming space for the Chang family. We are so excited for them to begin making a lifetime of memories in their new home!

Surrounded by our valued customers, suppliers, and local dignitaries, our Plexus Malaysia team recently celebrated the groundbreaking of their sixth facility in Bandar Cassia Technology Park. The new state-of-the-art facility, Plexus Bridgeview, will be located on 20 acres, encompassing 560,000 square feet of infrastructure to support growth in the Asia-Pacific region. The facility will also support Malaysia’s New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP2023) while creating an estimated 1,800 new jobs. Congratulations to our Plexus Malaysia team on this incredible new endeavor in service to our vision to help create the products that build a better world.

We are star struck seeing Bevi’s newest user, Bill Nye the Science Guy! Bevi Standup 2.0 water dispensers are manufactured by Plexus and offset millions of plastic bottles from landfills, as well as reducing emissions from bottle shipments. National Hire a Vet Day, observed annually on July 25th, is an important occasion for organizations to honor and support Veterans by providing them with meaningful employment opportunities. We are proud to recognize this day, by partnering with Military.com to pledge our commitment to actively hire Veterans of the United States Armed Forces.  We value and recognize the leadership, training, character, and discipline they bring to Plexus.
