PureSky Energy is excited to announce a generous donation of $25,000 to the Cape Cod Children's Museum. We have been working with the Children's Museum in facilitating the installation of rooftop solar. It will reduce the museum's carbon footprint, promote environmental sustainability, and provide educational opportunities for families who visit the museum! The installation of solar panels is not only advancing the museum's transition to renewable energy, but is also part of our commitment to helping local communities adopt clean energy. We are thankful for the opportunity to work with and support the Cape Cod Children's Museum in their transition to renewable energy! https://lnkd.in/gEYGeKrW #CapeCodChildrensMuseum #PureSkyEnergy #Rooftopsolar #community

Thank you for sharing this milestone and for the five years we've worked together advancing the energy transition. Every MW we bring closer to the finish line is another hard won step toward expanding access to clean energy through community solar and, of course, realizing New York State's ambitions to reduce GHG emissions by 40%. #communitysolar #energytransition #solarenergy #renewables

We are pleased to announce the sale and financial closing of 23 MWdc of community solar assets to PureSky Energy.     Our latest community distributed generation (CDG) asset portfolio sale marks another milestone in our decade+ journey to deploy clean power generation in New York State. As DSUN continues to expand our solar+ deployments across the nation, collaborating with long-term, trusted partners is among our first principles. Benefits of the solar portfolio will include: 🌲 Annual CO2 reduction: 35,114 MT 💸 30-year rate-payer savings: over $5.6M ☀ 33.4 GWh generated by the sun 🏠 Powering ~4,800 homes annually Distributed Sun has delivered over 200 MW in generation assets in New York since 2012 (see site cluster map below). Community solar offers a unique opportunity for New Yorkers to benefit from clean and discounted solar without installing panels on their roof or property.    "DSUN helps New York meet its Climate Act goals to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 40%, creating local jobs and tax revenues," says Chase Weir, truCurrent & Distributed Sun CEO. "The State, its energy officials, utilities, local permitting and revenue jurisdictions, environmental regulators, grid operators, and communities are essential business partners. PureSky is a trusted, diligent, analytic, uncomplicated business partner. Our teams achieve high project success rates and improved outcomes." “We appreciate our five-year successful relationship with Distributed Sun," says Jared Donald, CEO of PureSky Energy. "They bring a proven track record of navigating the complexities of the permitting process, working with utilities, landowners and local individuals, and bringing these projects to operation. Our ongoing partnership with DSUN leverages our experience and capital with DSUN’s strong abilities to bring these projects to reality." #CDG #comminitysolar #DERs #climategoals

Meet Molly McCready, PureSky Energy's Community Partnerships Manager! When we asked Molly why she is passionate about her role, she responded: "As humans, we must hold ourselves accountable for the consequential, and in many cases, irreparable damage that we have inflicted on the Earth from our dependence on fossil fuels. Our ecosystems have suffered for far too long, treated as resources to consume rather than fellow travelers. Renewable sources of energy have powered life on our planet since the beginning of time, and the gift of their abundance can no longer be ignored. I am a firm believer that our transition away from being fossil-fuel dependent to renewables will require collaborative solutions. Community solar represents the new horizon through which this is not only possible, but achievable. At PureSky Energy, we truly are working to create a more harmonious, symbiotic relationship with the world around us by partnering with municipalities, businesses, and residents alike to lay the foundation for meaningful change through community solar initiatives and projects." Molly's passion for sustainability is echoed in her dedication to her role at PureSky. We're happy she's on the team and look forward to seeing what she will achieve in the future. 🌄 #communitysolar #PureSkyEnergy #EmployeeSpotlight #teamappreciation
