Today, Related Midwest joined Governor J.B. Pritzker, Mayor Johnson, PsiQuantum and other partners to announce the development of Illinois Quantum & Microelectronics Park, a planned 128-acre quantum campus anchored by PsiQuantum on the former U.S. Steel South Works site along the Lake Michigan shoreline. This project marks the initial phase of a broader 400-acre master plan for the site, and is an important investment in Chicago's future as technology and infrastructure hub. We look forward to working with the community on this exciting development.

Will Tippens, Senior Director of Planning at Related Midwest, has been appointed by Mayor Brandon Johnson’s office to be a part of the Cut the Tape Task Force, which aims to streamline and expedite development processes in Chicago. At Related Midwest, Will coordinates all municipal agency communications and applications relating to zoning, entitlements, building permits and other work with regulatory agencies. His experience and expertise will play an important role in helping this initiative to make a difference in Chicago’s neighborhoods.
