We're thrilled to share that retrain.ai and our COO Isabelle Bichler-Eliasaf are featured in Citi's latest report, "Human Skills to Thrive in the Age of AI." This insightful report delves into the evolving landscape of AI and its impact on the workforce, highlighting the critical importance of Durable Human Skills (DHS) – skills that AI cannot replicate. These include cognitive, digital, change, and emotional skills such as critical thinking, adaptability, empathy, and creativity. Isabelle's expertise and contributions are prominently featured, underscoring the innovative approaches we're taking to equip individuals and organizations for the future. We believe in harnessing AI to enhance human potential, and this report perfectly aligns with our mission to foster a workforce that's ready to thrive in the age of AI. Companies will have a key role to play in this new era to upskill their employees to properly leverage Generative AI. "Rather than using archaic job descriptions or rigid qualifications, employers need a holistic understanding of skills to map the right candidates to the right open roles, and then cultivate them once on board," Isabelle emphasizes in the report. "AI enables companies to analyze the skills they have, the skills they need to have, and the skill gaps they should bridge. With this actionable data on hand, employers can then properly upskill and reskill their employees." Learn more about how retrain.ai is leading the charge in preparing for a future where humans and AI work hand-in-hand. >> https://ow.ly/PsYP50S6Q0y Read the full Citi report here >> https://ow.ly/vOzn50S6Q0x #AI #HRTech #FutureOfWork #HumanSkills #Innovation #retrainAI #Leadership

As the role of AI in the workplace continues to expand, HR leaders must learn to integrate these technologies without sacrificing their human workforce. Finding the proper balance allows them to proactively address potential problems and ensure that technology amplifies, not replaces, human beings in the workplace. Our CEO Shay David spoke as part of an Expert Panel on the Forbes Human Resources Council and addressed one way HR leaders can balance AI with workforce retention and productivity. "Using AI-powered skills frameworks and talent intelligence platforms is revolutionizing talent management and workforce development by adding layers of intelligence to the existing systems of record," he said. You can read Shay's full comments, along with the rest of the Expert Panel, here >> https://ow.ly/Z1wQ50S6NmY

Thanks in large part to the CHIPS Act passed in 2022, U.S. fab capacity (or production capacity) could triple from 2022 to 2032. But this rapid expansion could put increased strain on an industry that is already dealing with some attrition. New and improved fabs will require 48,000 new technician and engineering jobs by 2030, according to a new McKinsey & Company report. But at the workforce's current pace, only 43,500 of those will be filled. What's more, the Semiconductor Industry Association and Oxford Economics predict that the U.S. semiconductor industry will fail to fill 67,000 technical or engineering jobs by 2030. As this talent shortage grows over the next several years, it will be crucial for companies in the semiconductor space to hire and retain the right people to fill these needs. Learn more about how the retrain.ai talent intelligence platform can help solve talent shortage issues like these. >> https://ow.ly/13nq50RIQq8

One of the main reasons that hiring challenges persist in 2024 is a disconnect between employers and applicants. On the employer side, 83% of HR leaders say they struggle to find enough talent with the skills they need, according to Gartner. This talent shortage already creates an uphill battle in finding the right person for a particular role. But thanks to developments in HR technology and the shifting landscape of recruiting, 1 in 3 candidates now expect their future employers to find them. Our talent intelligence platform bridges this gap by matching the right candidates - even those who have not actively applied - to open roles based on skills, and does so in a fraction of the time. It seems skills-first or skills-based hiring is everywhere in 2024, but how real is the shift away from resumes and job qualifications to a true focus on skills? We're still on the path, but momentum is certainly accelerating among employers. More than 45% of employers on LinkedIn explicitly used skills data to fill their roles in 2023, up 12% from 2022, according to Deloitte. And about 20% of job postings in the U.S. no longer require degrees. The need for a skills-first talent intelligence solution will only become more critical as more employers embrace this approach. This is where our platform can push your business ahead. Learn more from a member of our team here! >> https://ow.ly/13nq50RIQq8

What an amazing conference last week at UNLEASH America! Events like this are so elevating and it’s a great opportunity to have thorough discussions with HR leaders and everybody in the ecosystem. It was so great to meet old friends and make new ones! Main topics on everyone’s mind: 1. How to do more with less- whether it’s hiring or developing talent, everyone wants to implement AI technology to improve productivity and increase efficiency. 2. GenAI is exciting. Many are adopting it, mainly for talent acquisition use cases, and there are a lot of discussions around the safety of the technology and the need to ensure it is based on trusted, responsible AI. 3. Skills strategies - the shift to the Skills Based Organization operating model is major. Putting skills at the core of HR strategies to operate more efficiently and gaining skills intelligence is happening across the board in different industries and use cases. 4. Data activation- HRs have many systems that are data rich, but they’re siloed, and the data is not accessible or actionable. The need to unlock data and transform it into insights and business value is acute. 5. Today more than ever, HR leaders have a crucial role for unleashing human potential and the AI tools available are empowering them with data-driven insights to focus further on employees’ growth, engagement and productivity. It’s great to see how HRs drive innovation and transformation bringing meaningful contribution to the organization’s business advancement. Thank you everyone that came to our booth and for the insightful conversations. Kudos to our rockstar team at retrain.ai for the amazing work there! #AI #HR #HRTech #talentintelligence #ResponsibleAl #ResponsibleHR #ethicalAl #skills
