Happy Dogust! 🐶 August 1st marks the celebration of Dogust, the birthday for rescued and adopted dogs whose birthdays are unknown. August 1st also happens to be my birthday, and I can't think of a better way to celebrate than by supporting a cause that brings joy and wagging tails to so many. As a dog-walking volunteer at my local shelter, I get the joy of experiencing just how special these shelter animals are and the immense love they have to offer. Like See’s, they bring boundless joy and happiness! I always wish I could do it more, not just for the dogs, but because it’s so fun! As we at See's Candies thought about why to partner a great candy company with a great cause like providing hope to dogs in need and a way to pair them with people willing and able to open their hearts and homes, it came to us easily—we both bring joy. It’s that simple. See’s supporting companions in waiting and in need is an obvious pair, and celebrating a great event like Dogust is kind of a natural for us. Adopted dogs deserve a birthday too, so August is just as good a time as any to make sure they get that special day. With that in mind, I'm thrilled to announce See's Candies' partnership with the ASPCA in honor of this special occasion. She currently works as a Senior Production Operations Manager in our South San Francisco plant. 🍫 Why do you love working at See’s? Jennifer: I am fortunate to work with and learn from a passionate team — and make the BEST candy!   🍫 What is your favorite memory of See’s?
