Last weekend I was at HackTown, an incredible festival where so many things happen simultaneously that it's hard to even keep up. For me, the highlight was being able to share a panel with people I love, to talk about something else I also love: education.
In the panel "Creating the New Human in the Innovative Margins of Education", we had the affective mediation of Natália Alandi, Rosa Alegria's critical look at futures literacy and the impeccable work of Thiago Freire on self-directed and adult learning. It was up to me to talk about my personal concept of Ludoliteracy which I have been developing over the last 12 years as an educator, ludologist and researcher.
But the best of all was being able to represent my “ikigai”, my newest passion: Stemuli, a gaming company at the intersection of AI, education and workforce development. We made critical reflections on redefining the role of schools, educators and the learning process itself, and I reinforcede how games are the language of the 21st century. What makes me very proud is being part of a company whose project I envisioned back in 2020: a game-based learning platform that personalizes learning, making it fun and meaningful!
I just want to thank Taylor Shead and Khiry Kemp for the opportunity to let me be part of this dream and for the wonderful meeting I had with Renee Delos Santos. You guys are the best team I could have! Let's change the world!

No fim de semana passado estive no HackTown, um festival incrível onde tantas coisas acontecem simultaneamente que é difícil até acompanhar. Para mim o ponto alto foi poder compartilhar um painel com pessoas que amo, para falar de outra coisa que também amo: educação.
No painel “Criando o Novo Humano nas Margens Inovadoras da Educação”, tivemos a mediação afetiva de Natália Alandi, o olhar crítico da Rosa Alegria sobre a alfabetização para futuros e o trabalho impecável de Thiago Freire sobre a aprendizagem autodirigida e de adultos. Coube a mim falar sobre o meu conceito pessoal de Letramento Lúdico que venho desenvolvendo ao longo dos últimos 12 anos como educador, ludólogo e pesquisador.
Mas o melhor de tudo foi poder representar o meu “ikigai”, a minha mais nova paixão: Stemuli, uma empresa de jogos na intersecção entre IA, educação e desenvolvimento profissional. Fizemos reflexões críticas sobre a ressignificar o papel das escolas, dos educadores e do próprio processo de aprendizagem, e reforcei como os jogos são a linguagem do século 21. O que me deixa muito orgulhoso é fazer parte de uma empresa cujo projeto idealizei em 2020: uma plataforma de aprendizagem baseada em jogos que personaliza a aprendizagem, tornando-a divertida e significativa!
Só quero agradecer a Taylor Shead e ao Khiry Kemp pela oportunidade de me deixarem fazer parte desse sonho e pela reunião maravilhosa que tive com Renee Delos Santos. Vocês são o melhor time que eu poderia ter! Vamos mudar o mundo!
