Last night we had the privilege of bringing together founders and VC ecosystem leaders for an evening of ice breakers, meaningful conversation, and thoughtful connections at The Hideaway in Beverly Hills. Thank you to Alejandro Guerrero from Stifel Bank and Rebekah Willetts and Chelsea Piedad from Sequoia for making evenings like this possible. It was a fantastic inaugural event for Struck Studio and we're excited to keep the momentum going!

Thank you Tom Ryan for hosting our team and our founder Adam B. Struck for valuing time out of the office for community building. Lastly, thank you to Andrew Green, Charlee Rae Bender, Christian Juzang, David Yoo, Dongwon (Don) Lee, Gordon Tindall, Jack Fornaciari, Jason Tahir, Justin Fasano, Mariano Barraco, Martin Cseh, Michael Montero, Romina Gomez, Sam N. Adams, and Sophia Kathryn Khan for making the trip and celebrating time as a team.

Exciting breakdown from Michael Montero on GibsonAI pair programming. Take a look yourself with the demo below! 🔥🚀
🚀 GibsonAI Pair Programmer 🚀 In this video you'll see me pair program with GibsonAI. I'm in full control of what is being built but GibsonAI makes me 100x faster. What I love is that Pair Programmer is fully aware of my context, it knows all about my schema and data dictionary so it makes repetitive tasks really easy and automatically corrects common mistakes (like unindexed foreign keys). I then use #heygibson to build my database with the tables I just created, write all my code (including unit tests) and I'm done. The example is small but the gains multiply. The more you build using GibsonAI the faster you get. But you can start using GibsonAI anywhere, even on an existing codebase. GibsonAI is here to make sure you're working alongside #ai, getting enormous benefits from the technology but maintaining the control you need to understand what's being built. What you want is that you understand the code and it works every time...like every time...not some of the time (you know who I'm looking at). That's GibsonAI. As always, a number of huge features in the works: (1) Automatic circular dependency detection at your fingertips. You'll know there's an issue before you write the code and try to run the tests. (2) Full data dictionary implementation so that your entities are consistent. last_name as varchar(100) will always match how your system is designed. (3) GibsonAI is now able to take an OpenAPI spec, digest it, create a full third normal form database out of it and write all the code you need. That means you can reverse engineer features from the pros or integrate with a third party in literally minutes. We appreciate you hanging out with us, watching the videos and providing feedback. A lot more to come!

Check out the latest on GibsonAI from Michael Montero!
Welcome to GibsonAI, your #ai backend engineer. Members of our beta group have been asking us if you can use GibsonAI with a pre-existing product. You can! We wanted to show a quick demo of that here. What's new? (1) We released v0.4.0 of our Code Composer. Code Composer is an intelligent system that combines the capabilities of an external LLM with GibsonAI to write code in a more efficient way with low latency. The goal is to make smart coding decisions for you but continue to give you software that can go directly to production. (2) Our AI team is working on our generic-v8 modeling system for creating even better, more consistent data models. We will keep you posted on all the progress there but expect a very excited Mike to show that off once it is ready. (3) We're making progress on our AI Pair Programmer. The functionality will include context about your database and coding environment and allow you to code in either SQL or Python. As always, additional languages are on the list. The goal of Pair Programmer is to keep you in the driver's seat while allowing you to code MUCH faster with more consistency. It's coming, I promise. (4) OK, and now for a big, audacious bet that I'm hoping to deliver on. I'm not a huge fan of Alembic, or migrations in general. Might AI be able to migrate your database automatically, consistently with each new release? If GibsonAI has it his way, then yes. Please don't hesitate to provide feedback in the comments or to reach out to me directly. Thanks for watching and stay tuned!

Check out the latest from our CTO Michael Montero. GibsonAI is the future of software development - ping us if you want to join beta!
Welcome to GibsonAI, your backend AI engineer. In this video I walk through the Web based interface allowing you to build an application and data model with GibsonAI. In upcoming videos I'll show you pair programmer with GibsonAI, working directly in your development environment, automation using GibsonAI, working on existing codebases and more! A few highlights: (1) GibsonAI uses an LLM to build a production-grade, third normal database from a prompt. (2) From the data model, GibsonAI writes a ton of code. (3) Our Function processing system (an ML based rules engine) then identifies additional software you'll need and can modify your data model, inject tables, and write more code. (4) Reconciliation is where we clean up the data model, make it third normal form, correct for common human errors, LLM hallucinations, best practices and more. (5) GibsonAI then deploys your software into AWS and emails you a link to your API documentation and an API key. Very soon I'll show you heygibson (the command line interface tool) where you can download everything to your dev environment and work more closely with GibsonAI. Thanks for watching, please provide feedback and stay tuned!
