The National College Testing Association’s 25th annual conference was held August 4-7 at the Hyatt Savannah Riverfront. The ACCUPLACER/CLEP sponsorship and concurrent sessions provided the opportunity for engaging in meaningful conversations with testing professionals. Together we’re focused on programs that enhance academic and workforce success. Debby also brought a surprise young guest to enhance the ACCUPLACER/CLEP banners displayed in the exhibit hall. Thanks to all the NCTA members who voted the College Board ACCUPLACER/CLEP Booth the People’s Choice booth award; we appreciate our partners!

Despite Debby storming Savannah, Georgia, this week, CLEP top test centers were honored on Tuesday, August 6, during the National College Testing Association’s 25th Annual Conference held at the Hyatt Savannah Riverfront. The 2024 CLEP Honors Awards were given to the top 20 national and military test centers for the number of CLEP exams administered during 2023. Even though this is a coveted testing center honor, the real winners are the students who progress toward college degrees when successfully completing CLEP exams. Congratulations to the top 20 National and Military CLEP Centers! Learn more: https://lnkd.in/g_PEtReQ

Lien Martinez’s work was selected for the 2023 AP Art and Design Digital Exhibit, which features exceptional artwork from AP students' final portfolios. Learn more about Lien's work: http://spr.ly/6042YecmI From Lien: "My love for my grandparents motivates me to make work about them and their love story. They taught me to be resourceful because they lived their whole lives in Cuba. Where they made do with what they had. They were married at 14 and died a month apart, 82 years later. Making my work about their story makes me feel a stronger connection to them as if I’m honoring them and the life they created together." #APArt #APArtandDesign

Kiera Robb’s work was selected for the 2023 AP Art and Design Digital Exhibit, which features exceptional artwork from AP students' final portfolios. Learn more about Kiera's work: http://spr.ly/6041c2f73 From Kiera: "I initially chose my inquiry based on what I thought would make the most personal, emotionally complex pieces, and I started on a portfolio based on my sexual identity. However, halfway through the year, when I got bored of such a concept, I turned to my biggest passion project: my D&D game. I’ve always been interested in creating fantastical worlds and narratives and making art for them. D&D was no different, and I was extremely excited to show my players what I envisioned after I wove the story together with just words. I wanted them to feel like their character was appreciated and their story was told. Thus, my inquiry became a collection of the pivotal moments in each character’s lifetime. The palpable emotions were what I wanted to best replicate in my works, and so with the piece featured, I tried to convey a feeling of emptiness." #APArt #APArtandDesign
