In the sweet baked snacks industry, we've come to depend on classics like chocolate and vanilla. But our team at Hostess® saw an opportunity to spark curiosity through an innovative and intriguing new partnership with social media influencer, Taylor Calmus (Dude Dad). This collaboration brought about the category’s first-ever mystery flavored baked good! Now through October, consumers can find the secret mystery flavor Twinkie exclusively at Walmart and submit their guesses via the Hostess Instagram account.

Our Uncrustables® brand is thrilled to be an official sponsor of the 2024 Little League® World Series. Fans at both the softball and baseball events can visit the innovative “Dig-in-Dugout” for Uncrustables-themed games and samples of the official PB&J of the LLWS. Our Hostess® team is always on the lookout for interesting flavor combinations and innovative partnership opportunities. Recently, the team introduced a limited-time Cherry Slurpee® flavored filling as part of a new promotion that runs through 08/28/24, in which 7-Eleven® shoppers can buy any Slurpee® and get any Twinkies® 2-pack for just $1.49.

Every intern we’ve been fortunate to employ has contributed meaningful work to the daily operations of our business, all while bringing unique perspectives and experiences that impact our company in a big way. We have 126 interns employed across our campuses this summer, and we’re proud of the accomplishments they’ve made. Today, on National Intern Day, we want to thank our past, current, and future interns for their hard work. We hope you enjoy hearing about their experiences as much as we did!

Introducing our new look! Our Uncrustables® team recently took on the task of creating bold new packaging that would elevate the box and wrapper design we’ve grown to recognize, while also holding true to the history and roots of the brand. The new design focuses on highlighting all of our favorite Uncrustable components- the convenience, the circle crimp, and of course, the signature gingham. Our consumers played an important role in creating the new design and we’re excited for them to see the results on store shelves. 

Our Company began producing ice cream toppings in 1940. While our organization has seen significant expansion since then, we’re proud to still produce classics like hot fudge, butterscotch, strawberry, caramel and more. National Ice Cream Day is July 21st – a perfect opportunity to treat yourself to a sundae with all the toppings!

Giving back to our communities is at the heart of Smucker culture and strategy. We are proud to recognize the employees who consistently take time out of their day to support a meaningful cause. Recently, we recognized the employees that go above and beyond at our Volunteer Recognition Celebration. Thank you to these individuals and the many other Smucker employees who go the extra mile to make a difference in the world around them.

Our favorite snacks are so much more than simple sustenance. They bring joy, offer comfort and even reflect a sense of normalcy. That’s why we have proudly supported our partners at the American Red Cross with donations of products from across our portfolio for years. We can always count on Bring Your Dog to Work day to create a paw-sitive atmosphere and an office full of wagging tails. In addition to having their dogs join them for the workday, employees were able to have their photo taken with their pup, get some swag from our brands tent and enjoy lunch outside at the food trucks. Special thanks to our pet teams for touring the office with the Waggin’ Wagon to keep those furry friends full and energized!

As a company that prioritizes volunteerism and giving back to our communities, we are proud of all employees who take time to make the world a better place. Today, we’d like to recognize Deanna Skelton, who is one of our most active employee volunteers. Deanna volunteers her time with multiple organizations such as Caring Therapy Canines, Cross Country camps, and 4H. She helps to evaluate and train therapy dogs and handlers, and volunteered at a cross-country camp which honored the passing of her friend. Please join us in thanking Deanna for making a difference!
