About us
The Navigators is an international, interdenominational Christian ministry established in 1933 as an outreach for followers of Jesus Christ to help others come to know and grow in Him as they navigate through life – a goal embodied by The Navigators motto, “To Know Christ, make Him known, and help others do the same®” Navigators are characterized by an eagerness to introduce Jesus to those who don't know Him, a passion to see those who do know Jesus deepen their relationship with Him, and a commitment to training Jesus followers to continue this nurturing process among the people they know. We are a community of hundreds of thousands of everyday people who impact others for God's glory in our normal pathways of life where we study, live, work, and play. We spread the Good News of Jesus Christ by establishing Life-to-Life® mentoring—or discipling—relationships with people, equipping them to make an impact on those around them for God's glory. Today, the Navigator staff family – nearly 5,000 strong – spans 70 different nationalities, 130 languages, and individuals from every heritage and life experience. The Navigator family also includes those who work alongside and support our staff, whose hearts beat with our same passion to Know Christ, make Him known, and help others do the same™.

How do you intentionally pass on lessons you’ve learned to the next generation? For Eagle Lake counselors Samuel and Nathan, this looks like coming alongside campers and helping them develop their walks with Jesus — much like their counselors did for them when they were young campers. “When people ask me why I come back to Eagle Lake, I tell them that this is where I fell in love with Jesus,” Nathan says. “It’s been a huge blessing to come into the summer with the knowledge of the impact God can have through me, like my counselors once did for me.” Learn more about Nathan and Samuel’s stories, and how the Lord is working through them and Eagle Lake Camps of The Navigators one generation at a time by visiting: navs.me/3S4rfu1 #WorkplaceMinistry #ChristianWorkplace #Leadership #FaithAtWork

Born to Reproduce was originally a 47-minute message given by Navigator founder Dawson Trotman in 1955 – a message that spoke to the importance of life-to-life discipleship and spiritual generations to fulfill the Great Commission. Decades later, hundreds of thousands have been challenged and many lives changed by hearing the audio and reading the printed versions of Born to Reproduce. How can you grow as a believer? By meeting with God in His Word! Observation is an important first step in studying the Bible. What does it say? The point is to observe carefully what the verses are saying before moving on to interpretation or application. You can start right now, observing a passage, and share the process with someone you are discipling. Download this resource for observation tools and practice: navs.me/3SfvbIJ #NavResource #DiscipleshipTool #EquippingDisciples #BibleStudyResource

Have you ever considered praying through fasting? Through fasting, we can humble ourselves to seek God in new ways, partnering with Him by putting our focus purely on Him and prayer for a dedicated period of time. During these times, we can see God move in powerful ways, whether through answering our questions or requests or by deepening our relationship with Him. Are you curious how fasting can be implemented in your prayer life? Check out Navigator Alice Matagora's personal story in her article, "Seeking Answers Through Fasting and Prayer": https://navs.me/3zKx8q5 #EquippingDisciples #QuietTime #QuietTimeWithGod #SpiritualGrowth #PrayerTip

What does generations of discipleship look like around the world? For Deborah*, a woman in Burundi who is building up her community through Navigators D4D training, this looks like serving her family and friends and passing on what she has learned to nearby villages. “I have experienced transformation in my family and in the church,” she says. Learn more about The Navigators Discipling for Development (D4D) ministry and how they are training local leaders like Deborah to build up impoverished communities through practical, relational, and spiritual resources and skills around the world by visiting: navs.me/3xhks9r #WorkplaceMinistry #ChristianWorkplace #Leadership #FaithAtWork
