About us
In a field known for black-and-white thinking, Tighe & Bond focuses on bright ideas, green strategies, and clear solutions. Working with public and private organizations across the northeast, our engineering and environmental consulting projects demand creative, collaborative responses to complex questions. Four things combine to make us unique. First is our commitment to thoroughly understanding client needs, and through that understanding, help them succeed. Second is our deliberate regional focus on the northeastern United States. We like it that way, and frankly, so do our clients. Third is our position as a major firm in this dynamic region. We have very strong, full-service offerings staffed locally by people who live in these communities. And fourth is our ownership model. We’re owned by our employees, so we all feel truly invested in our clients’ success. We’re built this way on purpose. These four elements fuse together to assure outstanding client and project outcomes, and exciting opportunities for employees. Tighe & Bond’s talented engineers, planners, scientists, landscape architects and support staff do great work that benefits our clients, our communities and this entire region that we love.

Our team is once again partnering with UNC Environmental Finance Center to conduct a survey of Massachusetts water and sewer rates. These user rates will be compiled into a free, interactive dashboard that municipal government and private water suppliers can use as a benchmarking tool for comparing rates. Massachusetts utilities are encouraged to share their rate data with the UNC Environmental Finance Center (efc@sog.unc.edu) by Thursday, August 15. https://ow.ly/Zwcq50STQl9 #waterrate #ratesurvey #wastewater

We are about to kick off work with Rifenburg Contracting Corp. to stabilize General Knox Road. Our team supported the Town of Russell, MA with a MassWorks Small Town Road Improvement grant application, completed preliminary and final design, supported the bidding process, and are now providing construction administration and part-time observation services during construction.
Teaming up with Tighe & Bond and kicking off another fun one for the Town of Russell. The job includes 4,000 CY of Rock Removal, Drainage Improvements, and Roadway Realignment. The existing road is slowly falling off the side of hill and needs some help. Can't wait to dig (or should I say blast) into this and create a safer passage for local residents. Photos are are of our drone survey and a Google Maps image that does a great job of showing the site conditions. Rifenburg Contracting Corp. #ESOP #EmployeeOwned #PeopleFirst #Rifenburg
