Make sure to always stop on all sides when a school bus has its stop sign out for pedestrians entering and exiting the bus. Follow the school zone speed limit of 20 mph to create a safe environment when flashing lights are on or during designated school zone times, and stay focused by avoiding mobile devices while driving. Protect your child’s privacy by covering sensitive information in photos shared on social media and keeping the original for personal use. Congratulations to Prosper Fire Rescue for their exceptional achievement in receiving the Storm Ready designation at the July 23 Town Council Meeting! The Storm Ready program, developed by the National Weather Service, recognizes communities that have advanced planning, education, and awareness programs in place to handle extreme weather. Thank you to everyone who joined us for the quarterly Prosper Chamber of Commerce Update at Children's Health Stadium last week. Town of Prosper staff provided valuable insights on the Town budget, public safety, infrastructure and parks projects. Mayor David Bristol expertly moderated the event, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging discussion. We appreciated the opportunity to connect with Prosper Chamber of Commerce members to address questions and share updates on Prosper's future.

Our very own Prosper Police Department (PPD) joined forces with Texas Roadhouse for the Special Olympics Texas Tip-A-Cop fundraiser! Officers served local residents to support this incredible cause, which offers year-round sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
