Still reeling from another fantastic Outlook Leadership #OL24 ☀️🌴💆♂️ OLC never disappoints and the 2024 edition was particularly strong given #personalization and #measurability were top themes 🤓 A few key moments for me: 1️⃣ Economist Arjun Chakravarti of Cogknition concluding that the measurability of Performance Marketing is increasingly key to Retailer success 2️⃣ the rise of the #UncommittedCustomer as the byproduct of channel blurring: they are digital, value-seeking, and represent the majority of Americans 🫡 Thomas Weinandy 3️⃣ Sea of Sameness: Greg Hoffman’s Emotion by Design and breaking out of the noise to make it *feel* personal 4️⃣ Practical #AI applications are growing: my man Jack Hogan at Mashgin and Jay Blazensky at InStore.ai reiterated AI isn’t just an internet novelty The tl;dr was emphatically “One size does *not* fit all” and I can’t wait to see Convenience Retail embrace it! 🙌 🎉 Upside Informa Connect Foodservice CSP Daily News
