VCM is an organization of aspiring young professionals that seeks to simulate a corporate finance environment. We strive to create a community in which members can develop key financial analysis skills by completing equity and market research, performing fundamental and technical analysis, and staying current with the ever-changing economics of the world we live in. Our structure allows members to experience a quasi-professional environment in which they can develop desirable hard and soft-skills by working in and across teams. Aside from their individual assignments, analysts have the opportunity to work with other analysts on team assignments and receive feedback from experienced young professionals. The analyst role provides an opportunity to develop not only necessary technical abilities in a financial services role, but also personal development through skills like critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership. The VCM network extends across many universities and industries, with our more senior members pursuing careers in wealth management, investment banking, private equity, and management consulting.
