The American Marketing Association hosted a panel discussion yesterday, featuring our own Justin Holmes, Head of Marketing & Public Policy. Justin and the other panelists discussed the intersection of marketing and public policy, including regulatory challenges faced by modern marketers like evolving data privacy laws, trust and transparency in marketing practices, and the opportunities/risks for brands in engaging on public policy issues.

Partnership Spotlight: Seaport TMA & Zipcar In 2021, we partnered with Seaport TMA, a non-profit organization who advocates for transportation projects and policies, to help provide commuters and residents with a sustainable transportation option in Boston’s fastest growing neighborhood. With so many commuters and residents in the area, Seaport TMA needed to improve mobility, ease congestion and reduce vehicle emissions. Today, Seaport TMAs custom car sharing program has over 370 members. Insights from the partnership are helping the TMA make the Seaport a great place to live, work, and play. Our friends at INRIX just released their 2023 Global Traffic Scorecard, which found that traffic continues to grow.    We believe congestion will continue to exist until drivers re-evaluate their relationship with personal car ownership. BAGLY (The Boston Alliance of LGBTQ+ Youth) is a youth-led organization committed to making the world a safer and more equitable place for LGBTQ+ youth. They create, sustain, and advocate for programs, policies and services for the LGBTQ+ youth community. We’re ecstatic to support this amazing organization along with our Boston community.

In honor of #pridemonth, we hosted BAGLY, Inc. at our home office in Boston. Leaders from BAGLY discussed pronouns, how to be an ally, and how BAGLY makes a difference in the lives of the LGBTQ+ youth. Thank you to Monty, Kyrus/Malek and L from BAGLY, our own Brian Jacobs for moderating the panel, and the ZipQueers ERG for putting on the event.
