In one of its biggest steps yet to keep fossil fuels in the ground, the Biden administration announced Thursday that it will end new coal leasing in the Powder River Basin, which produces nearly half the coal in the United States. 
Climate activists have long pushed the Interior Department to stop auctioning off leases for coal mining on public lands, and they celebrated the decision. It could prevent billions of tons of coal from being extracted from more than 13 million acres across Montana and Wyoming, with major implications for U.S. climate goals. 
A significant share of the nation’s fossil fuels come from federal lands and waters. The extraction and combustion of these fuels accounted for nearly a quarter of U.S. carbon dioxide emissions between 2005 & 2014, according to a study by the USA Geological Survey. 
In a final environmental impact statement released Thursday, Interior’s Bureau of Land Management found that continued coal leasing in the Powder River Basin would harm the climate and public health. The bureau determined that no future coal leasing should happen in the basin, and it estimated that coal mining in the Wyoming portion of the region would end by 2041. https://lnkd.in/gXpDmkzM

Homeland Security and the Dept. of Energy Do Not want this information out there. Have you heard of the Thunderstorm Generator? It is real and it makes fossil fuels obsolete. Now water powered combustion seems like and oxymoron but it is not and the technology has been suppressed since the 70s or earlier take a look at the soon to be offered technology

Don't Try This Methods If You Want To Check Your Remaining Gas Level At Home 1. Avoid weighing the cylinder by lifting it. Most people feel that when it is lighter than when it was first refilled, it means the quantity of the gas has reduced. It is not true. 2. Avoid shaking your gas cylinder for checking your gas level. Yes the future comes. We need no starter jobs that aren’t hi tech. Your fries and fast food are a robot away. Add to this kiosk, phone and online orders and why would you need people. Grab your food and go. Yes some will be needed to repair these machines, but how many? What training is provided and will those maintenance people be individual or groups? Will they be in their own vehicles covering large areas and in constant on call status? If on call will companies compensate the correctly for putting life on hold for the companies benefit? What of the entry level jobs? Who will be providing opportunities for people with low/no skills, needing part time income, or stop gap income?
