About

My professional journey has taken me from 400 meters from the crater of an active volcano to inside conference rooms with CEOs, heads of state, and cabinet-level officials. I've studied overseas in Cuba, Spain, and the UK, and supported entrepreneurs in rural Nicaragua to build and grow their businesses.

In my current role, I champion U.S. commercial interests throughout the Americas and defend the rule of law for business globally. I've had the opportunity to strengthen my policy chops on trade, sustainability, health, and digital economy topics, and to deep dive on these issues in Canada, Colombia, Cuba, and Mexico. Since joining the Chamber, I'm proud to have:

● Represented the Chamber as a panelist during the 2023 Forum on Business and Democracy, an official side event of the Biden Administration's Summit for Democracy.
● Facilitated dozens of high-level engagements between the public and private sectors, including a session during the IV CEO Summit of the Americas that featured the presidents of Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, and Panama, as well as regional CEOs.
● Managed the production of the Chamber's “Supply Chain Strategies and Nearshoring Opportunities in the Americas" report, a key deliverable from the IV CEO Summit of the Americas.

Before joining the world's largest business association, I was a development practitioner at the oldest not-for-profit cooperative development and trade association in the United States. While at NCBA CLUSA, I managed USAID-funded projects to strengthen cooperative businesses and the regulatory environment for co-ops in Latin America and East Africa, gaining knowledge on the coffee, cacao, and spices value chains and becoming an expert on compliance with USAID rules and regulations. Some of my job highlights include:

● Co-authoring the USAID-funded Cooperative Development Program’s Gender Analysis Study to inform on the key issues that affect women’s equitable participation and access to economic and social opportunities in cooperatives.
● Serving as Project Manager and Communications Lead of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee and facilitating staff trainings as a member of the Gender Team.
● Collaborating with country-based teams in Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Kenya, Madagascar, Peru, and Tanzania on shared objectives.
● Playing an instrumental role in office start up in Ecuador and Peru through managing country registration, carrying out hiring and onboarding of field staff, and drafting procedural and policy documents.
