Participated in the drafting of marketing communications to prospective customers. Participated in strategic partnership decisions along with the leaders of both companies.

  • Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery Procedures and Cybersecurity Programs

    Drafted the company's regulatorily-mandated business continuity/disaster recovery procedures and cybersecurity program. Worked closely with the company's technology team to develop best practices for the protection of customer information and the safety of staff.

    Responsible for annual review and testing of these procedures and program.

    Implemented a complete restructuring of holding and operating companies: Created and registered new subsidiary LLCs, changed ownership of operating LLCs from one holding company to another; opened new bank accounts for new operating LLCs and drafted necessary documentation (e.g. new LLC agreements)

    As the results of my efforts, Bank of America Merrill Lynch will be able to save $1 billion+ in capital.

  • CFTC enhanced client funds protection rules per Dodd-Frank Title VII

    Drafted a comprehensive explanation of the enhanced client funds protection rules that were promulgated by the CFTC pursuant Dodd-Frank Title VII. This document set forth in detail the changes made to the client funds protection regime for both listed futures and cleared over-the-counter swaps.

    This document was distributed firm-wide to legal, business, compliance and operations stakeholders.

  • Nodal Exchange Membership

    Played a key role in an inter-disciplinary effort resulting in Bank of America Merrill Lynch's clearing membership in the Nodal Exchange, which lists futures based on electrical power prices.

    This project involved coordination among the front office, risk and operations partners, and also involved the review of the rules of both the exchange and its clearinghouse.
