Poverty Alleviation
Every couple of months, my daughter and I participate in the Family Promise program whereby we serve a few homeless families dinner and socialize with them. It’s such an amazing opportunity to hear their stories and sometimes help them beyond that night. During one of the servings, I was talking to a mom of 2 and learned that she was once in the industry that I am in. Unfortunately she was just dealt a bad hand and became homeless. Long story short, I was able to get her a job where I worked…

It’s such an amazing opportunity to hear their stories and sometimes help them beyond that night. During one of the servings, I was talking to a mom of 2 and learned that she was once in the industry that I am in. Unfortunately she was just dealt a bad hand and became homeless. Long story short, I was able to get her a job where I worked. She was then able to get an apartment and start her life over. For me, it’s all about paying it forward and giving back. I believe that nothing is a coincidence. I am passionate about serving the homeless and helping change lives one day at a time.
