Developed an enterprise wide Data Quality strategy and operating model to support data quality needs across the globe. The work involved defining the intake process, prioritization framework, tools and training strategy, offshore shared-service strategy, as well as remediation, communication and metrics strategy.

Conducted a needs assessment on enterprise wide Master data needs on Party/Entity, Account, Product and Asset data sets. Conducted a current state assessment on existing master data solutions at the bank. Leveraged the IBM Infosphere MDM server 11.3 to enhance master data domains for Party/Entity and Account data sets.

Worked with business leaders and Data Governance leadership to develop an overall strategy framework to re-align data related competencies into a singular organization. The output of this strategy deliverable resulted in company wide organizational and capital structure changes to consolidate 5 major data competencies under a new Enterprise Data Management organization.

Lead the strategy development and roll out of the Information Management Office (IMO) and the Data Governance, Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) and Business Analytics programs for a large banking organization. Conducted the initial Maturity assessment for Master Data Management, identified key data domains and implemented Critical Data definition policies, Data Quality assessment framework, and data Ontology for a large financial services enterprise.

Led the initiative to consolidate diverse stakeholders across the company to define an enterprise wide Data Governance tools framework. Reviewed industry leading Data Profiling (IBM Information Analyzer, Trillium TS Discovery etc.) and Data Dictionary (ASG Rochade, IBM Business Glossary etc.) tools, and down selected vendors for potential POCs within 90 days.

In this role I was responsible for managing all of the data related work streams for the Basel regulatory initiative. Phase 1 of the program was designed to govern disparate data sources and to define systems of record (SOR) and critical fields in the Basel II reporting structure and data model. Created banking relationships with Chicago based regional banks, and advised on Islamic Finance based debt structuring. Secured USD $50 million in various debt instruments.

Managed a new bank creation process by assembling a banking group, raising initial seed capital, developing a business plan, hiring management and legal, accounting and technology partners, completing regulatory review, and organization of a $15m capital raising initiative.

Managed a data center and application decommissioning effort for a large insurance company. Developed plans, introduced processes, and built management reporting dashboards. The reduction in hardware, software and support services, resulted in over $35m a year in savings for the company.

Over the next 5 years, the new product is predicted to generate $280 Million in net new revenues for the company. I managed the new product development lifecycle for this web based and mobile app. Distilled requirements, gained management buy-ins, prototyped, developed, tested and launched a new automated (robo advising) based online retirement product , which was responsible for 4.5% growth in the advisory services business at a large Wealth Management firm.

Re-architecture of the an Enterprise SOA platform (75 webservices, 100 web based applications) for a large financial services organization.
