Here's how you can elevate your career in Thought Leadership with conflict resolution skills.
For thought-leadership professionals, conflict is often the result of differing opinions. Simply put, most thought leaders do not like to be challenged on their opinions. However, discussing differing opinions proves to be a good foundation to mitigate conflict. It is critical to get to the root cause of the conflict and then determine how to mitigate both the emotional and intellectual issues.

Here's how you can determine when a Thought Leadership professional should delegate a task.
Far too many "thought leadership" professionals find it difficult to delegate tasks. For some, it is an issue of them being the subject matter expert on the subject and no other person can increase the value of the content and others fall under the premise of "I can do it much quicker than having to explain it to a subordinate" - either way, it proves counter productive - Generating any thought leadership content requires more than just gut instinct - it requires data, sources, research and so forth - Gathering data, performing research and gathering the opinions of other SMEs tend to be good tasks to delegate. It all comes down to being willing to "let go" of some of the chores that are often confused with actual thought leadership.

Here's how you can prioritize self-care and avoid burnout as a Thought Leadership expert.
Burnout is a very real risk for thought leaders and the rate of technological change can be sometimes overwhelming. It is important to focus on the subjects that prove to be the most interesting to you and set time aside to research only the subjects that you can ideate future likely paths from. Also, don't be afraid to take some risks when predicting things and remember that sometimes even the most educated and thoughtful individuals can sometimes be wrong. Remember to learn from mistakes and not allow those mistakes to bring you down. And always remember to have fun.
