I cannot stress enough the importance of leveraging available technology and AI for streamlining HR efficiencies. Nearly all HRIS, Payroll, and L&D platforms have the ability to build out robust customizations that can streamline and automate most mundane administrative tasks. Spend time researching the platforms your team is using to identify system functionalities that you may not be tapping into and spend ample time implementing them effectively. This is the only real way you can optimize efficiency and productivity.

I despise the term emotional intelligence as the methods for measuring EI are less robust than the complexity of human interactions. While emotional intelligence emphasizes the importance of empathy, self-awareness, and people skills, it overshadows other crucial aspects of professional competence, such as technical skills, critical thinking, and experience which professional relationships are built on. If you want to strengthen relationships with colleagues and clients, you need to be authentic, transparent, and share a general interest in building productive and beneficial partnerships that drive business results through collaboration.
