“Jason and I worked together for over 4 years. He served as the Assistant Vice President of Software Engineering at IPFS. In this role, Jason had 100% responsibility for the largest IT team in the organization and was directly responsible for delivering core software systems that drove company revenue. Jason always conducted himself with the highest level of professionalism in every situation. He is extremely dependable and very proactive in his communication style. He is capable of tracking and managing many competing initiatives and able to stay close to the details. He is a technologist by nature. A builder. He has an affinity for defining, developing and delivering highly efficient processes focused on quality and transparency. He understands the value of automation as well as tracking KPI's to drive improvement. As a person, he is one of the most honest, straight shooting people that I have ever worked with. As a leader, people like to work for him. In the 4 years we worked together, the attrition rate from his department was near zero. He communicates directly and frequently to his teams. They appreciate this and always feel included. They know they are part of the team. Jason is always eager to accept new responsibilities. Not once did I see him shy away from new challenges. While working together he onboarded an offshore team, deployed a new software development lifecycle, built out the DevOps function, developed new managers/leaders, and doubled the size of his team to meet business demand for new software products. I cannot recommend Jason highly enough as a motivated and driven strategic technology leader capable of high quality, efficient delivery.”
