Consumers turn to trusted sources to get their input about any given product or service. People freely follow influencers to browse popular content, discover new trends, and seek recommendations. While their voice is not as persuasive as a friend or family member, the social influencer represents a voice that consumers respect and selectively follow, making their posts incredibly influential. While large-scale influencers with millions of followers continue to capture the attention of brands, there is an increasing value in the micro-influencer.
