CHALLENGE

Create a new way for Fandango consumers to discover the stories they want to see in movie theaters in a very engaging, interactive and highly visual way.

Built Android & iOS app that allows karmapoints.com users to self check-in at volunteer events. Used third-party barcode reader libraries with custom Android (Java) and iOS (Cocoa Touch) code.

In the Comcast NBCUniversal Internal Hackathon in New York City on October 14-15, 2017, our team fed the user video watch history data in the NBCU TV Everywhere apps to Microsoft Azure Machine Learning (ML) Studio and used its Matchbox recommender, a large-scale recommender system based on a probabilistic model (Bayesian), to build a recommendation API engine. handpik is a mashup service where users earn affiliate income by recommending products to their social network friends.

Drupal-based app reads several RSS feeds from the web site and rearranges them with jQuery mobile to make a phone-friendly app for festival subscribers.

Led the architecture and implementation of a full-site port from ASP/SQL Server to LAMP. Implemented a custom JavaScript framework on top of YUI to enable user customized artist pages and personal playlists.
