During the early phases of our UX department transformation at Macy's, we brought Nui in as Lead App UX Designer to help raise the design bar on our mobile app UX design team. She did not disappoint. Shortly after starting at Macy's, her design skills quickly became the gold standard for other lead UX designers that followed, and our app UX designers continually sought out her design mentorship. With her thoughtful approach to design and her strong talents in visual and interaction design, she not only raised the design bar for the mobile app team, but she help raised the bar for the web team as well. She ultimately played a key role in Macy's UX redesign which went on to win numerous awards, including a Webby! In addition to being an incredibly talented designer, her passion for excellence, commitment, and work ethic are second to none. You could always count on Nui to deliver high quality work, even under the most aggressive timelines and most challenging of circumstances. Not surprisingly, she was highly valued by every one of her managers. I'm so grateful to have had Nui on my team at Macy's and I hope that I'll have another opportunity to team up with her again in the future!”
