Provides financial information to management by tracking, maintaining, analyzing, and researching Accounting data. Substantiates compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, (GAAP), and the company’s internal procedures and controls.
Essential Functions
Document financial transactions
Audit documents to verify accuracy of financial transactions
Analysis and reconciliation of accounts
Follow up and documentation of account variances
Maintain Accounting sub ledgers
Create Journal Entries
Prepare assigned reports accurately and timely
Assist with external audit examinations
Maintain compliance with internal procedures and GAAP
Achieve company due dates and meet all deadlines
Provide other analysis and ad hoc reports as required
Other duties as assigned
Job Dimensions (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Or KSAs)
Strong analytical and Accounting skills
Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Excel
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirements
Associates Degree, or above, in Accounting. Will consider equivalent experience.
Work Experience Requirements
2 years previous work experience in Accounting, (above clerk level position)
