Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $21.00/hr
Role Overview

As the Accounting Assistant, you will support the accounting team in executing a wide range of responsibilities. You will be tasked with helping maintain a high level of organization.

Essential Functions

Additional Responsibilities

  • Completing Maintenance Reserve Reimbursement Requests
  • Assisting with Month End duties
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Complete necessary accounting during the application phase
  • Monthly & quarterly reporting
  • Tracking & auditing processes
  • Assist with processing payables/receivables as assigned
  • Assist Accounting staff with organization, scanning & mail as needed
  • Any other task as assigned


Education/Training:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years experience with financial management, bookkeeping, and/or other accounting functions; real estate experience a plus
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
  • Extraordinary attention to detail while performing multiple assignments
  • Proficient MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Yardi or property management software experience preferred
