Are you an ambitious, detail-oriented professional with a knack for numbers? We are seeking a dynamic Accounting Manager to join our esteemed finance team. This permanent position offers an incredible opportunity to make a significant impact within our organization by providing financial leadership to support our growth and expansion.

Responsibilities

As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for the following

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Manage and supervise accounting department employees; responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership.
• Maintain and improve processes and controls associated with manufacturing costs and inventory valuation.
• Lead the development of and support the company's strategic plans.
• Monitor the financial performance of the company.
• Compile and analyze financial reporting packages.
• Prepare monthly and annual operating budgets.
• Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures.
• Communicate financial metrics to senior management.
• Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments.
• Manage the preparation of payroll for personnel.
• Keep up-to-date with current financial and industry trends.
  
  

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Advanced degree or professional accounting certification (CPA or CMA) is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
• Understanding of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
• Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
• Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes.
• Proven experience in financial project management.
• Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and accounting software packages.
• Prior experience with audits, forecasts, and other fiscal planning.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills.
