We are seeking Adjunct Faculty to teach in the Early Childhood/Teacher Education Department courses. Courses are available in-person, online, and concurrently during the fall 15-week semester. In person and concurrent classes meet once per week during the morning, afternoon, and evening. Online classes are asynchronous.
Example Of Duties
Teach assigned classes in accordance with the College's academic calendar and approved syllabi.
Meet all scheduled class sessions.
Maintain and report accurate student grades and attendance records using approved procedures and systems.
Participate in assessment activities in support of the PCCC institutional effectiveness program.
Utilize the appropriate technology, including the College's student learning platform, to fulfill teaching duties, including familiarity with the use of Blackboard Ultra.
Qualifications
Master's degree required; a Master's degree in education strongly preferred.
Experience teaching at a higher education level in the field of early childhood and teacher education.
Sensitivity, commitment, and experience working with a diverse student population.
The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
